About The Position

The Facilities Operation Lead shall provide operational coordination and oversight of facilities maintenance and QA activities for the Uniformed Services University Health Services Campus.

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years facilities operations experience
  • Minimum two (2) years coordination/supervisory experience
  • Possess strong coordination skills
  • Ability to manage priorities
  • Possess strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • DoD experience preferred
  • Knowledge of building systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily facility operations and maintenance activities
  • Monitor work orders, preventive maintenance and corrective actions
  • Assign operational tasks to personnel
  • Support planning and Restoration and Modernization (R&M) activities
  • Conduct inspections to identify deficiencies and risks
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and safety regulations
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors and service providers
  • Maintain operational records and logs
  • Support emergency response coordination
  • Monitor contractor performance
  • Provide recommendations for operational improvements
  • Support Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) program activities
  • Coordinate corrective actions and improvements
  • Assist in development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and quality processes
  • Other duties as assigned
