About The Position

The Facilities Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of the facility. This role ensures buildings, grounds, equipment, fleet, and workplace services are maintained efficiently, supports employee workplace needs, manages vendor relationships, coordinates facility projects, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Facilities Director partners with cross-functional teams to deliver a safe, functional, and productive workplace while optimizing operational costs and enhancing the employee experience.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of facilities management or related experience.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, contracts, and P&L responsibilities.
• Knowledge of and experience with building systems, including HVAC, boilers, chillers, generators, and preventive maintenance.
• Understanding safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with up to 50% travel as needed.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility operations, maintenance, and repairs across assigned locations.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building regulations.
• Oversee workplace services, space planning, and employee support.
• Manage facility budgets and track operational expenses.
• Lead facility improvement projects and workplace initiatives.
• Support hybrid workforce needs and maintains a positive employee experience.
