As an Intern at TI, you will be assigned meaningful projects related to your educational background that are challenging, rewarding, and beneficial to the Facilities organization. Your projects will focus on cost and energy reduction, plant and process safety improvements, reliability enhancement, and complex problem-solving. You will be fully integrated into the Facilities team and supported by a network of engineers, technicians, operators, and leadership as you work through real-world industrial challenges. Beyond your technical work, you will have unique opportunities to network with other interns through social events, volunteering, and professional development sessions. Facilities Mechanical Engineering interns will have the opportunity to work on the critical infrastructure and mechanical systems that support our semiconductor manufacturing operations. You will gain hands-on experience with large-scale mechanical systems, including HVAC (air systems, Fan Filter Units, and exhaust systems), chilled and condenser water systems, cooling towers, and fire protection systems. Working in a cross-disciplinary setting, you will collaborate alongside electrical, chemical, and controls engineers to improve the reliability and efficiency of our facility's mechanical infrastructure.
