About The Position

Perform Duties related to maintenance, repair and monitoring of physical plant and grounds as directed by the Facilities Maintenance Foreman or Manager.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of (2) two years in all building maintenance trades.
General custodial experience.
Must be able to read blueprints.
Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company requirements for insurance coverage for driving a company vehicle.
Have a complete set of tools.
Must be able to accommodate 24 hours on call departmental rotation schedule.
Understanding of computer systems as required for entry of work tickets.
Must be able to perform duties using high reach lifts.
Basic carpentry skills.
Knowledge of woodworking power equipment.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Ability to use required safety equipment for the handling of hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the plant grounds and equipment.
Assist with electrical, plumbing and HVAC work.
Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the plant grounds and equipment.
Responsible for inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers and safety related equipment.
Assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on Fire Pumps and Emergency Generators.
Assist in basic remodeling and construction projects.
Troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
