About The Position

Responsible for effectively planning, developing, implementing, overseeing, and integrating the overall management of facility support for the Center. Sets and maintains professional and ethical standards among department personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business management, facilities management, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Maintenance experience required
• Familiarity with building upkeep, structural issues, and grounds maintenance

Responsibilities

• Recommending, planning, and executing site space-plan changes
• Overseeing and planning annual facility spending for office services, building and grounds maintenance, and facility expansion or improvement projects
• Planning, organizing, scheduling, and directing the design, maintenance, construction, renovation, and repair of organization facilities
• Developing plans and programs that meet present and anticipated space and facility requirements
• Monitoring and inspecting all buildings and equipment to ensure that utility systems are fully operational and that preventive maintenance schedules are being followed
• Preparing cost estimates for building renovations or space allocations
• Evaluating completed work and checking for conformance to specifications
• May direct the safety and/or security functions of the facilities
• Other duties as assigned
