About The Position

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and functionality of all company facilities. This role ensures that buildings, equipment, and infrastructure meet production, safety, and regulatory requirements while promoting sustainability and operational efficiency. The Facilities Manager will manage budgets, vendor relationships, and facility-related projects to support organizational objectives. Salaried position with typical hours on site, 8:00am-5:00pm CST. Flexibility allowed on case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all buildings, equipment, and infrastructure meet safety, regulatory, and operational standards through preventive maintenance and inspections.
  • Plan and oversee facility-related projects, including installations, refurbishments, office moves, and workplace design to optimize space utilization.
  • Assist with facilities budgets, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with external vendors and contractors for timely and cost-effective services.
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies for infrastructure improvements, capital investment planning, and operational efficiency.
  • Promote sustainable practices, reduce environmental impact, and manage energy consumption to support cost management and corporate responsibility.
  • Establish facility policies, procedures, and standards while ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating potential risks.
  • Adhere to NSI’s waste management and recycling policies.
  • Additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
