About The Position

TDIndustries is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical building systems. This is a highly visible, high-growth role in the company’s newest market, Atlanta. The manager leads and develops team members, serves as the primary technical expert and key on-site customer liaison, and oversees service delivery, repairs, planned maintenance, and operational performance. The role also ensures shift coverage and contract compliance, responds to emergencies, follows safety policies, and reports operational data and performance metrics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least 5 years of Central Plant work experience.

Nice To Haves

• At least 10 years of management experience in a similar environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and empower team members to meet performance targets and organizational goals.
• Conduct regular, constructive performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary technical expert in the designated area and key liaison for on-site customer interactions.
• Plan and oversee customer service delivery, including hands-on work and training for direct reports, client staff, and other contractors.
• Monitor and evaluate major repairs and in-depth planned maintenance.
• Ensure all shifts are covered and perform operational duties as needed to ensure contract compliance.
• Respond to emergency calls and coordinate with police, fire, and emergency service crews to protect company property and employees.
• Comply with all safety policies.
• Compile, analyze, and present operational data and performance metrics through accurate, timely reporting.
