About The Position

DT Professionals is seeking a Facilities Management Specialist to join our team in White Sands Missile Range, NM. This role leads the coordination and oversight of construction, maintenance, and service contracts in support of mission-critical operations within a secure environment. This role ensures contractor performance, regulatory compliance, and adherence to safety and security standards. The position requires strong operational leadership, contract oversight experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a controlled-access federal setting

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical related field.
  • 7 years overseeing facilities, maintenance, or construction contracts in a federal or secure environment
  • Experience providing contractor oversight, performance monitoring, and corrective action implementation
  • Experience coordinating maintenance and construction activities to support mission operations
  • Experience conducting site inspections and ensuring safety and contract compliance
  • Experience tracking work orders, budgets, and contract documentation
  • Experience collaborating with contracting officers, project managers, and procurement personnel
  • Ability to interpret and apply security requirements within controlled-access facilities.
  • Experience using facilities or work order management systems (e.g., ARCHIBUS, Maximo, SAP).

Responsibilities

  • Prepares detailed plans, statements of work and cost estimates and develops complete project packages as required for facilities repairs, projects, or contracts (working with NAVFAC, ACOE, DLA and GSA).
  • Participates in design reviews and pre-construction meetings.
  • Prepares and submits service tickets and work orders for repairs and project packages in support of the SRM program.
  • Coordinates services for repairs and projects and provides logistical support required for site and building access.
  • Conducts facilities condition assessment surveys and inspections.
  • Oversees facility service contracts.
  • Participates in Quality Assurance Evaluations.
  • Develops and maintains facilities metrics, maintains reports/records and prepares statistical reports charts and graphs, as required; supports, coordinates and acts as liaison for energy, fire, environmental and safety program requirements; coordinates customer’s requirements; reviews and verifies customers’ requests prior to submission to ensure availability of funds.
  • Supports maintenance and updates to the facilities 5 year strategic plan and development of the annual requirements letter to NAVFAC.
  • Responsible for development of acquisition packages to support SAP procurements.
  • Tracks PRs to completion.
  • Coordinates site visits with contractors that bid on projects.
  • Support planning of employee physical moves as well as large group moves.
  • Assist with GSA vehicle maintenance, tracking, and reservations.
  • Make weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual reports as required for each vehicle.
