About The Position

This position is responsible for the maintenance of the building's mechanical systems, landscaping, fleet vehicles, and general upkeep of designated areas. The role involves performing routine checks, minor repairs, scheduling inspections, and assisting with cleaning tasks. The employee must be able to work independently, communicate effectively with coworkers, and adhere to company policies and values.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain mechanical aspects of the building, including checking for power outages, changing lightbulbs, changing A/C filters, checking HVAC units, and restroom fans. Call specialists for issues beyond capabilities.
  • Maintain landscaping, including sprinklers, lawns, trimming hedges, weeding rocks, clearing debris, and clearing the dumpster area.
  • Clear snow in the winter.
  • Maintain fleet vehicles.
  • Schedule building and irrigation inspections (Elevator, Fire Sprinkler System, Backflow Systems).
  • Assist Facilities Specialist with cleaning and supplying designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, windows, restrooms, kitchens).
  • Empty garbage and provide cleaning supplies to other employees when requested.
