About The Position

Assists or works independently on various maintenance projects in the facility. This role involves supporting mechanics and electricians, assisting custodians with cleaning tasks, performing painting and general upkeep of walls, floors, machinery, and outdoor areas. The position requires the ability to work unexpected hours and perform other duties as assigned by management. Safety is paramount, requiring adherence to OSHA and company guidelines, and immediate reporting of unsafe conditions. The role also necessitates working unsupervised and collaboratively with a team.

Requirements

Must be able to read and follow written work instructions.
Must be able to lift up to approximately 45 pounds.
Must be able to stand on your feet for extended period of time.
Must be able to work around equipment that generates extensive heat.
Must be able to bend, stoop, and squat.
Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred (GED).
Knowledge of manufacturing and prior work in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

Helps mechanics or electricians with any maintenance function.
Helps custodians with cleaning and waxing floors or any functions that they need assistance with.
Helps with painting, cleaning walls, cleaning floors, cleaning machinery or any outside equipment or buildings.
Keep yards clean and free of any trash or equipment parts.
Must be able to work unexpected hours.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Must work safely at all times obeying both OSHA and company guidelines.
Report any unsafe actions or conditions to management immediately.
Must be able to work unsupervised.
Must be able to work/collaborate with a team.
