About The Position

This is a full-time seasonal position starting immediately and ending October 2026. Based at the remote Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, this on‑site living role places you 100 km from Jasper and surrounded by stunning glacier views and endless mountain adventure. You’ll be part of a destination that includes the Glacier View Lodge, dining outlets, retail, and the world‑famous Glacier Adventure and Skywalk. Staff live on‑site with accommodations and three hot meals per day.

Requirements

Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment
Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated - Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision
Class 5 driver’s license (unrestricted), required
Standard First Aid Certification, required (or willing to obtain prior to beginning work)
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and capable of manual duties, required
Proven ability to complete minor building repairs to proper building standards/codes
Organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
Dependable, self-motivated and fully capable of working autonomously
Employee and public relations skills and a friendly/cooperative nature
Must enjoy working outdoors, even in challenging mountain weather conditions
Internally motivated with a consistently high level of energy
Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks needing attention
High attention to detail
Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment
Be prepared for all weather conditions (Snow, Rain, Wind, Hail)
Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standard
