About The Position
Triple Cities Metal Finishing is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician you will be a vital part of our maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility through various maintenance tasks. Additionally, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to work directly with our Master Maintenance Mechanics, with a clear path for career advancement and professional growth. From advanced surface preparation to highly technical finishing processes, we can handle the smallest pieces to large parts over 30 feet long. Our three shifts of skilled professionals in our 125,000 square foot facility have made us the vendor of choice for metal finishing for Northeastern United States. Whether it is electroplating, electroless plating, wet paint, or powder coat, we finish it right the first time!
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to push up to 75 pounds, bend, kneel, and climb as needed.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and plumbing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Nice To Haves
- Water treatment background is preferred.
- Experience with PVC, CPVC, and black steel pipe is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform all minor and major electrical maintenance tasks using appropriate tools. Work with systems ranging from 110v single-phase to 480-volt 3-phase.
- Conduct minor & major plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, trenching, and replacing hoses.
- Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair defective equipment promptly and efficiently.
- Swiftly respond to work order requests, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to support the overall function and safety of our facility.
