About The Position

Responsible for tasks related to the cleaning, repair, upkeep, and safety of the facility, as well as the movement of goods in production. A primary focus of this role includes daily janitorial cleaning of the facility and seasonal lawn care/mowing. This position requires demanding physical work. No technical experience is required, but candidates should be familiar with the tools and responsibilities outlined below.

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic hand/power tools and outdoor lawn equipment (mowers, trimmers).
• Must be able to take direction and report results back in a concise manner.
• The ability to understand direction and work independently with minimal supervision.
• General maintenance, janitorial, or landscaping experience preferred (manufacturing environment is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility cleaning, material disposal, restroom upkeep, and regular trash removal.
• Mow the lawn, trim edges, and maintain the outside appearance of the facility.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools (such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches) for basic carpentry and landscaping.
• Paint where needed, both inside and outside the facility.
• Assist with the movement and handling of production materials.
• Follow health and safety rules, policies, and procedures for the work area, ensuring that personal work activity does not affect the safety of oneself or others.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
