About The Position

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining the facilities, diagnosing maintenance issues, and following through with solutions. This position also provides maintenance service to the homeownership on a regular or a la carte basis. For all items below, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for inspecting, repairing, sourcing repair assistance, monitoring, and following up to ensure repair and maintenance are completed to expectation. This is not an exhaustive list. As the development evolves, so too will the Maintenance Role.

Requirements

• High School GED, vocational tech, or similar position training.
• Previous Experience in a maintenance or handyman-related field.
• Must have valid work authorization to work in the United States for I-9 form purposes.

Nice To Haves

• Extensive experience in a maintenance or handyman-related field.
• Comfort diagnosing Electric and Plumbing issues.

Responsibilities

• Check the wellness center for maintenance needs and repair or source repair.
• Check the pool room for any leaks and chemical levels.
• Check the pool deck and pool for any garbage.
• Check kitchen freezers and coolers for temperature and proper operation.
• Check the exhaust system for functionality.
• Check lights and turn off as necessary.
• Check Admin for lights, heat,/ac.
• Walk and inspect all property buildings for maintenance repairs and upkeep.
• Check both comfort stations for maintenance needs.
• Respond to property maintenance calls and emergencies from staff and homeowners.
• Ensure property gates are in operation.
• Ensure trash is put out at homes for pickup.
• Record a bimonthly checklist for owners.
• Report anything broken to Maintenance manager.
• Maintain the condition of the company vehicles.
• Adhere to all employee handbook policies and procedures.
• Create partnerships with department managers to ensure regular communication and maintenance needs are met.
• Assist members and employees with questions and take ownership of simple requests.
