Facilities Maintenance Workers are responsible to provide janitorial and light maintenance duties, ensuring a safe, clean, and accessible environment for all visitors. This position encompasses a variety of janitorial tasks in municipal buildings, including offices, restrooms, locker rooms, meeting rooms, common areas, fitness areas, gymnasium, indoor playground and other assigned areas. These janitorial tasks include but are not limited to: cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting floors, carpets, windows, fixtures, sinks, toilets, showers, furniture and equipment. Perform light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, basic plumbing fixes, replacing light bulbs and filters and assembling/moving furniture. Collect, remove and properly dispose of trash, recyclables and other waste materials.
