Facilities Maintenance Technician Day shift 7:00am-3:30pm
About The Position
This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability and facility maintenance, including plumbing and electrical tasks, as well as vendor management. The technician will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment, perform preventative and unscheduled maintenance, and identify continuous improvement opportunities for maintenance tasks. Responsibilities also include managing vendors, maintaining maintenance records, assisting with IQ/PQ protocols, performing technical installations, communicating repair statuses to management, identifying and correcting safety issues, and supporting manufacturing and facility staff.
Requirements
- 10 yrs. experience in manufacturing, injection molding machinery.
- General carpentry, plumbing and electrical skills.
- Understands hydraulics, electronics, and pneumatics.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Possess strong mechanical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment in a timely manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance and unscheduled maintenance with minimal impact on schedules and quotas.
- Identify and perform continuous improvement of maintenance tasks.
- Manage vendors for scheduling of repairs and supplies.
- Maintain maintenance records per SOP.
- Assist in IQ / PQ protocols as required per customer criteria.
- Perform and assist with technical installations and operations of manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain communication with management of active and potential repairs for minimal impact on manufacturing timelines.
- Identify and correct any safety issues.
- Support manufacturing and facility staff as necessary.
