About The Position

Wood Violet Recovery is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep our residential treatment facility, equipment, and grounds safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys fixing things, working with their hands, keeping a property in good condition, and helping a team keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of maintenance, facilities, custodial, groundskeeping, construction, or other hands-on experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep.
Ability to use basic hand tools and equipment safely.
Current CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
A minimum of 1 year of sobriety if in recovery.

Responsibilities

Complete maintenance work orders safely, accurately, and on time.
Work with maintenance lead and other departments to schedule and prioritize repairs.
Keep the building, equipment, grounds, and common areas safe, clean, and in good working condition.
Complete routine preventative maintenance.
Perform basic repairs, janitorial work, and groundskeeping as needed.
Complete light pool maintenance, including cleaning, basic upkeep, and checking water conditions.
Respond to maintenance issues.
Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
