About The Position

Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a Facilities Technician to work with our Operations team in Easton, MD. Facilities Technician responsibilities include: Performs general maintenance of buildings, Maintains storage (organize and inventory), ensures equipment/supplies are available and in good working order, Set up rooms and test units for studies; provide basic repairs to laboratory test systems, May handle regulated materials, potential biohazard materials, and toxic chemicals using proper labeling and dilution, Perform grounds maintenance including, but not limited to, mowing, removal of leaves, landscape maintenance, snow and ice removal, maintenance of driveways and parking areas, Completes cleaning, maintenance, and assigned tasks as directed by supervisor, Communicates effectively and regularly with supervisor regarding timelines, project completion, and any issues that may arise, Completes documentation legibly, timely, and accurately according to all regulatory requirements, Maintains and completes equipment logbooks.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Solid organizational skills
Good customer service
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Responsibilities
