About The Position

This role is for a Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for general facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, electrical work (120/240 volt single and three phase), interior and exterior painting, carpentry, drywall installation and repairs, appliance repair, plumbing, and sprinkler and fire alarm systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma and trade school, or equivalent required.
• A valid SC driver’s license.
• Ability to safely follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
• Ability to contribute to a total team effort.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity and respect.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in varying temperature environments.
• Be available for after-hours and weekend-on-call duties as requested.

Nice To Haves

• Three years maintenance technician experience or related field preferred.
• Certificate in HVAC and EPA Certification, building maintenance technology, plumbing or relevant field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct electrical work, including 120/240 volt single and three phase systems.
• Perform interior and exterior painting.
• Engage in carpentry tasks.
• Install and repair drywall.
• Repair appliances.
• Handle plumbing tasks.
