About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Technician supports day-to-day upkeep and repair for our REMS and Secure Storage properties. We have full-time and part-time roles available at the location(s) listed above. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and supporting a variety of property needs.

Requirements

A diverse and well-rounded skill set with the ability to support multiple maintenance functions
Experience providing maintenance services for rental properties, storage facilities, or similar is highly desired
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and with team members
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties as needed

Responsibilities

Performing general building maintenance, repairs and improvements such as painting, structural and minor roof repair
Apartment turn-over, HVAC, minor electrical, plumbing, appliance installation/removal, and emergency maintenance
Providing grounds maintenance, including but not limited to: landscaping, exterior building maintenance, and snow removal
Maintaining streets and common areas of the property
Safely operate a truck to transport materials
Communicating effectively and professionally with all residents and coworkers while working in a team environment
