About The Position

Perform basic "handy man" tasks, maintenance, and maintain grounds. Address work requests and preventative maintenance as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Manager (FMM). Understand and perform basic inspections of facilities systems, grounds, and equipment. Recognize and report safety concerns.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be acclimated to working outdoors in summer and winter weather.
• Must possess the skills, physical ability, and knowledge required to successfully perform the above scope of work.
• Should have a general understanding of common maintenance and lawn care tasks.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance tasks such as as changing lightbulbs, adjusting door hinges, painting, repairing/maintaining gym equipment, and facilities maintenance.
• Basic inspections such as fire extinguisher expirations, eye wash station functionality, fire safety system pressure check, HVAC settings, plumbing leaks, infrastructure integrity, and other inspections as assigned by the FMM.
• Mowing, weed eating, spraying, and other grounds maintenance tasks such as regular maintenance and upkeep of lawn equipment and chemicals.
• General labor and tasks associated with facilities and grounds maintenance, repair.
