About The Position

This position is responsible for performing routine cleaning building maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs, and general facility upkeep to ensure a safe, clean, and properly functioning environment. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or trade school education required.
Minimum of 1 year of maintenance, facilities, or building repair experience preferred.
Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.

Responsibilities

Perform general building repairs and maintenance in a professional and quality-focused manner.
Complete minor electrical repairs, including replacing light bulbs, switches, plugs, and cords.
Perform minor plumbing repairs on sinks, toilets, showers, and related fixtures.
Conduct preventative maintenance and emergency maintenance repairs as assigned.
Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including vacuuming, trash removal, and litter pickup.
Assist with grounds maintenance and snow removal when required.
Conduct and document weekly and monthly inspections of emergency generators and fuel storage systems.
Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies using a two-way radio or cell phone.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete all required paperwork.
Work safely and follow all OSHA regulations, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Collaborate with supervisors, trades personnel, and other staff members to support facility operations.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
