About The Position

Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a warehouse located in Kennesaw. The technician is responsible for providing mechanical and other maintenance support to maintain the respective 3PL facility and all equipment. The technician uses the electronic work order system to establish and maintain priority for their activities. This position provides daily maintenance support for all warehouse related equipment in and around the warehouse facility. They consistently demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems as well as resolve any other mechanical and/or technical problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Must have at least 3-5 years of direct experience performing facilities maintenance
• Ability to trouble shoot and understand basic mechanical components
• Forklift certification and basic understanding of forklift components
• Basic welding skills
• Basic computer skills
• HVAC knowledge
• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check

Responsibilities

• Know and follow safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Performs scheduled PM’s according to equipment specification
• Repair and maintain equipment in and around the warehouse
• Follows protocol for LOTO and Hot Work
• Work overtime hours as needed to meet objectives
• Performs other duties as assigned by management
