The Facilities Maintenance Tech performs routine cleaning, general labor maintenance, and facilities upkeep.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2-3 years in similar role with basic troubleshooting and hand tool experience.
• Basic mechanical and electrical skills.
• Customer Service Orientation: Committed to providing excellent service to internal and external customers.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to deal with change and adapt to a changing environment.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and focus on avoiding errors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of building systems and facilities to identify wear, damage, or safety concerns.
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete minor electrical, mechanical, and structural repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues such as lighting, switches, outlets, and ballast replacements.
• Respond to work orders including equipment adjustments, fixture repairs, and workspace modifications.
• Support waste management and recycling processes in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
