About The Position

National Bank of Arizona (NBAZ) is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role will be based at the Biltmore Corporate Office in Phoenix, with responsibilities extending to the Southwest Region. Requirements

High School degree or equivalent.
1+ years of maintenance work, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or other directly related experience.
Current driver's license and a clean driving record.
Working knowledge of operation for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, locks and keys, drive up equipment, vault doors, time locks, and bank security equipment.
Strong organizational skills.
High level of accuracy.
Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize a heavy volume of small unrelated requests from a variety of sources.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish languages is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist Property Manager and Facilities Manager with building inspections, procuring bids, managing vendors, building operations, and projects.
Maintain building systems including interior/exterior lighting, HVAC, thermostats, life safety, and building security.
Meet with contractors, monitor their work and all subcontracted work.
Meet regularly with priority vendors like Landscaping and Janitorial, and check their work, notifying supervisors of any problems.
Monitor utility usage and manage building energy, including time locks and preventive maintenance.
Check chemical treatment systems for Boilers and Chillers.
Repair mechanical equipment as directed.
Repair and install new locks, prepare necessary keys, and provide keys to the main office.
Patrol building exteriors for garbage, sweep lots and walks as needed.
Assist in roof maintenance repair work as needed.
Maintain an inventory list of equipment and assets assigned to building/property/department.
Run errands, including picking up supplies from various vendors.
Move equipment, tools, or supplies between properties as required.
Perform miscellaneous troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Perform other duties as necessary.
