Role Summary Maintain safe, efficient operation of plant facilities and building systems through repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and general facility support.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in facility/building maintenance.
- Proficient with hand and power tools; basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of safety regulations.
- Physically able to lift, bend, and work in varied environments.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to train or guide others.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with machining, welding, or shop tools.
- Knowledge of water treatment chemicals or chemical handling.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office).
Responsibilities
- Perform building repairs (walls, floors, windows, doors, light carpentry).
- Handle minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and assist with machinery troubleshooting.
- Maintain clean, safe work areas; follow OHSA, ISO9001, GMP, and EH&S standards.
- Support facility upkeep: painting, cleaning, waste handling, equipment moves, inventory.
- Assist mechanics/contractors and document maintenance work.
