Role Summary Maintain safe, efficient operation of plant facilities and building systems through repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and general facility support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in facility/building maintenance.
  • Proficient with hand and power tools; basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical knowledge.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of safety regulations.
  • Physically able to lift, bend, and work in varied environments.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to train or guide others.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with machining, welding, or shop tools.
  • Knowledge of water treatment chemicals or chemical handling.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

  • Perform building repairs (walls, floors, windows, doors, light carpentry).
  • Handle minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and assist with machinery troubleshooting.
  • Maintain clean, safe work areas; follow OHSA, ISO9001, GMP, and EH&S standards.
  • Support facility upkeep: painting, cleaning, waste handling, equipment moves, inventory.
  • Assist mechanics/contractors and document maintenance work.
