About The Position
Kevin Smith Transportation Group is seeking a reliable, hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Technician to help maintain our company buildings, grounds, and luxury transportation fleet. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized property, and is comfortable handling a variety of maintenance and upkeep tasks.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely.
- Ability to safely operate cleaning, maintenance, and groundskeeping equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to perform physical labor and routine maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to identify and report maintenance, property, vehicle, or equipment issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and upkeep of company buildings and work areas.
- Complete basic building maintenance and minor repairs.
- Maintain grounds, remove litter, and support overall property appearance.
- Assist with snow and ice removal and salting when needed.
- Take out trash and recycling.
- Assist with vehicle cleaning and detailing.
- Help maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Complete other facilities and maintenance tasks as assigned.
