About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform skilled repairs to fixtures, furniture, and equipment in resort and condominium sleeping rooms. The role is focused on maintaining excellent conditions while minimizing inconvenience to guests and associates. The technician helps provide a well-maintained, safe, and inviting environment that supports guest experiences and associate well-being, while delivering responsive, friendly, and courteous service. The position may start as early as September and pays $17–$35 per hour. Locations listed include Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin; Sandusky, Ohio; Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania; Round Rock, Texas; and Spotsylvania County, Virginia.

Requirements

At least one year of experience in carpentry, painting, electrical work, and appliance repair.
Ability to be self-motivated.
Administrative and proactive preventive maintenance skills.

Nice To Haves

Trade school and/or college coursework in related fields.
Previous hospitality or related experience.

Responsibilities

Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
Maintain and repair resort and condominium rooms, including electrical, plumbing, furniture, drywall, painting, pools, and electronic systems.
Understand and follow Kalahari Resorts' policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, safety practices, and training programs.
Keep equipment clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following manufacturers’ preventive maintenance programs.
