About The Position

Performs general maintenance duties of Pioneer properties including the Headquarters office, branch offices, and managed real estate locations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 5 years commercial property maintenance experience required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders up to 22 feet.
  • Ability to operate basic power tools such as drills, reciprocating and circular saws, shop vacuums, etc.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues, ability to represent Pioneer to outside businesses and/or customer contacts.
  • Must be an enthusiastic, productive team player.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation on short notice.
  • Must successfully pass NYS DMV driving record check, and maintain valid driver’s license throughout employment.

Responsibilities

  • Completes repairs to plumbing, electrical, low voltage cabling, carpentry, masonry, drywall, flooring, painting, HVAC systems, and banking equipment.
  • Operates light equipment and power tools to perform various tasks related to, landscaping, grounds keeping and snow removal.
  • Performs seasonal exterior tasks such as snow removal, cleaning patio furniture, removal of debris from sidewalks, parking lots and grounds, etc.
  • Empties trash and recycling receptacles and removes to designated exterior containers.
  • Inspects, cleans and tests bank equipment and fixtures to insure proper working order and professional appearance.
  • Performs property preservation tasks to REO & MIP property. (i.e. property inspections, lock changes, securements, winterizations and cleanouts)
  • Moves and delivers office furniture, bank equipment, records boxes as needed with attention to safe lifting procedures.
  • Restocks all paper products, hand soap and hand sanitizers as needed.
  • Cleans entrance door glass, interior glass windows and partition glass.
  • Uses and maintains assigned equipment and tools, such as cordless drills, shop vacuums, painting tools, brooms, etc.
  • Follows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
  • Performs duties assigned by the Assistant Security & Facilities Management Officer to support all functions of the Facilities Department.
