About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves performing a variety of semi-skilled tasks throughout the dealership and surrounding property. The ideal candidate is driven and can work independently due to limited supervision. The company is a large, family-owned and operated dealer in the Pacific Northwest with a long history since 1937.

Requirements

• A valid driver license and good driving record is required.
• Candidates must be driven and do well working independently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and addressing minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural and plumbing resulting in equipment repair and/or replacement.
• Performing preventive maintenance such as caulking doors/windows and replacing damaged windows.
• Conducting electrical maintenance including changing light bulbs, repairing ballasts, and repairing light fixtures.
• Performing plumbing maintenance such as unclogging toilets/urinals and sinks, fixing water leaks, and repairing water fountains.
• Conducting structural maintenance including painting interior/exterior walls and assembling or moving furniture.
• Assisting Kendall HR with safety compliance, including monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, first aid kits, and overall compliance in the shop area.
