Job Description: We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Facility Maintenance Technician to join our corporate facilities team. This role is responsible for maintaining the appearance, functionality, and safety of the company’s buildings and grounds. The ideal candidate is versatile, self-motivated, and willing to take on a wide range of tasks to support daily operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, landscaping, or a related field.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic knowledge of landscaping and general building maintenance.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Dependable, flexible, and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain company grounds, including mowing, trimming, edging, and general upkeep.
  • Assist with seasonal landscaping tasks such as planting, irrigation checks, leaf removal, and snow removal.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general upkeep.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
  • Ensure facilities are clean, safe, and in good working condition.
  • Complete work orders and assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Assist with moving equipment, furniture, and materials as needed.
  • Support special projects and facility improvements.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
  • Report hazards, damages, or major repair needs to management.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
