Facilities Maintenance Technician I

AMPED STAFFING LLCChicago, IL
$24 - $29Onsite

About The Position

Amped Kitchens builds and operates large-scale commercial kitchen campuses where food brands, caterers, meal companies, and restaurant groups grow fast. Our facilities need to be clean, safe, reliable, and ready every day. The Facilities Maintenance Technician I helps make that happen. This is a hands-on role for someone early in their maintenance career who wants steady work, practical training, and exposure to real building systems in a busy food-production environment. You’ll support routine repairs, work orders, preventive maintenance, docks, common areas, and client move-ins while learning from experienced facilities leaders. At Amped, maintenance is not just fixing things after they break. It is keeping the building ready, protecting food-safe operations, and helping dozens of food businesses scale from test batches to truckloads. The Facilities Maintenance Technician I supports day-to-day facility operations, maintenance, repairs, grounds work, and client support. You’ll work under the direction of the National Director of Facilities or Facilities Manager and help keep the facility safe, clean, organized, and operating smoothly. This is a good fit for someone who is mechanically inclined, reliable, comfortable with tools, and ready to grow into a stronger maintenance professional.
