About The Position

This role involves performing general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the warehouse, including battery and charger maintenance, electricity, plumbing, and carpentry. The technician will facilitate and manage the battery changing process, operate warehouse equipment, and ensure machinery and safety equipment are maintained and compliant with OSHA standards. Participation in HAZMAT responder training may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment including batteries, chargers, and machinery.
• Proficiency in mathematical calculations and documentation.
• Basic computer skills including email, internet searches, and data entry.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair batteries and chargers in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Facilitate and manage the battery changing process within the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and battery chargers as needed.
• Clean and lubricate machinery parts to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain tools and machinery in good working condition.
• Test safety equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Participate in HAZMAT responder training as required.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
