About The Position

This is a full-time position for a dependable Crane Technician to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on overhead cranes in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maintaining and servicing cranes to ensure safe and efficient production, and is not a crane operator position.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Dependable with excellent attendance
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights when required

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial equipment is a plus
• Previous maintenance experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Performing preventive maintenance (PMs) on overhead cranes
• Inspecting crane components for wear and potential issues
• Assisting with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting
• Using hand and power tools to complete maintenance tasks
• Documenting completed work in the maintenance system
• Working alongside experienced technicians while continuing to grow your skills
• Following all safety procedures and keeping your work area clean
