The Facilities Maintenance Technician (HVAC) is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing various building systems, including HVAC, doors, fire alarm systems, and freight elevators. This role involves performing basic electrical functions, replacing HVAC filters, and monitoring underground services like lift stations. The technician will also ensure the proper operation and timely repair of serviced equipment, study equipment conditions to prevent wear, and participate in the activation/deactivation of heat networks. Additionally, the technician will assist in material requests, test equipment after overhauls, maintain boilers and converter plants, regulate economizers and air heaters, service steam traps, and ensure fire pumps and fire protection equipment are in good working order. Other duties as required.
