About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist II is responsible for general custodian work, including extensive cleaning of facilities, classrooms, dorms, bathrooms, and other campus buildings. The role also involves minor building maintenance such as snow removal, light bulb replacement, light carpentry, minor plumbing, and other assigned tasks. This is a Tuesday through Saturday, first shift position, working from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Knowledge, skills and experience associated with all or most of the above
  • Continued possession of a valid Maine driver’s license
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and perform a variety of manual tasks

  • Operation of both manual and automatic cleaning equipment
