About The Position
Under general supervision, responsible for performing semi-routine maintenance and repair work. The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic applies growing technical expertise to maintain and troubleshoot complex facility systems supporting semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of facilities maintenance or skilled trades experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical manuals.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with coworkers and customers.
- Good problem-solving skills with moderate independence in decision making.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, pumps, chemical and gas distribution systems, and semiconductor equipment infrastructure.
- Proficient in one or more skilled trades related to facility maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with manufacturing and process engineering teams during equipment installation and repair activities.
- Conduct periodic inspections to identify and report facility repair needs.
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve standard maintenance issues, escalating unusual problems to higher levels.
- Maintain all required certifications and safety training, including Emergency Response and CPR/AED/BBP.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
