The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for directing and overseeing the maintenance and service operations of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power systems. This role involves evaluating current and future projects, assessing facility and equipment needs to increase efficiency, and developing standard operating procedures and preventive maintenance programs. The manager will drive business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, removing barriers, and ensuring performance standards are met. Additionally, the role oversees sustainability initiatives to meet EPA compliance, manages complex projects from assignment to completion, and directs regional field operations by controlling maintenance costs and monitoring contractor performance. The position ensures business needs are met by evaluating ongoing plans and initiatives, and fosters financial sustainability by developing and approving budgets, evaluating ROI, and approving contracts. The manager also maintains project oversight, manages department budgets, and ensures compliance with all relevant industry laws, regulations, and guidelines. This role provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, promoting a culture of belonging and high performance.
