About The Position
Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Facilities Maintenance Manager at Columbus Youth Academy in Tampa, Florida. Columbus Youth Academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program for male youth up to age 19. This program provides youth with comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based sex offender services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling, while in the program.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of related experience
- Licensed Technician in a related field: plumbing, electrical, HVAC or other
- Supervisory experience required
- Possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years
- Be able to pass a criminal background clearance check, TB test and drug screen (we do not test for THC)
- Previous HVAC experience.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and conducting all aspects of site maintenance, including but not limited to: grounds keeping, water systems, daily maintenance, emergency repairs, remodeling projects and new construction at designated ROP sites.
- Directly supervises maintenance and grounds keeping staff.
