This position provides maintenance leadership to the Facilities Maintenance Department and performs supervisory duties in the absence of the Superintendent, including organizing the next shift's tasks during shift passdowns. The role requires highly technical mechanical and electrical system troubleshooting and repairs. This position ensures that all PM and work orders are completed in a timely manner to minimize equipment downtime and improve system reliability while on shift in the absence of Superintendents. The position works closely with engineers, vendors, contractors, and customers and is considered part of the maintenance team leadership. The individual must be able to communicate with upper levels of plant management concerning the progress of work or special problems that could affect production or the status of critical systems.
