About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance I role monitors and maintains the appearance of production and support facilities, helps control support projects, and assists with building, production, and vehicle maintenance. The position performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, basic troubleshooting, grounds and snow removal, and emergency support tasks. It also assists with furniture installation and relocation and other miscellaneous facilities duties. The role requires compliance with company policies and safety regulations, safe performance of all duties, and a high level of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.

Requirements

Preferably 1–3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or construction.
Knowledge and understanding of building elements.
Ability to obtain hi-lo and man-lift certifications.
Safety-conscious approach to work.
High school graduation is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of furniture systems and their installation is useful.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide variety of scheduled and unscheduled facilities maintenance tasks.
Monitor and repair building elements, including doors, ceilings, floor coverings, and lighting.
Assist with facilities- and production-support projects.
Perform basic troubleshooting of facilities equipment.
Perform general groundskeeping and snow removal duties.
Perform emergency support tasks involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, and housekeeping.
Assist with corporate vehicle washing and maintenance.
Assist with installation and relocation of office furniture.
Perform miscellaneous duties such as parts runs, leak detection, and cleanup.
Comply with company policies and procedures and safety regulations; promote a safe workplace and perform duties safely.
Maintain honesty, integrity, and confidentiality regarding company matters.
Assist others with tasks and project implementation.
