About The Position

Step into the action as a Swing Shift Maintenance Engineer at MGM Grand, where innovation, scale, and precision come together inside one of the premier resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. In this hands-on role, you’ll help maintain and repair essential building systems, support daily operations, and ensure guest rooms and public spaces remain safe, comfortable, and fully operational. From the expansive resort towers and convention spaces to the vibrant casino and entertainment venues, your work behind the scenes helps keep MGM Grand running smoothly and delivering exceptional experiences to guests from around the world.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Working knowledge of diagnostic tools, including Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM Meters, Compound Gauges and Pressure Gauges
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacture maintenance guidelines
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair all mechanical equipment, including boilers, compressors, refrigeration systems, generators, and equipment powered by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, water, or other energy sources
  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair auxiliary equipment (mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic)
  • Complete work orders
  • Perform daily route walks and make necessary repairs
