About The Position

NH Job Corps is hiring a full-time, exempt Facilities Maintenance Teacher (Career Technical Training Instructor) in Manchester, NH to inspire and guide students toward high-paying jobs, advanced training, and lifelong career success. As a CTT Instructor, you aren't just teaching a curriculum—you are changing lives. You will guide eager students through hands-on technical training, help them secure industry-recognized certifications, and directly bridge the gap between graduation and a thriving career.

Requirements

A minimum of one year of experience in teaching or a related field is required.
Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state where the center is located (New Hampshire), or accredited by a professional trade organization.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and meet company insurability requirements.
Capability to lift up to 40 pounds and handle regular active training tasks (standing, climbing, reaching).

Nice To Haves

Current NCCER Certificates are prefered.
Previous Job Corps experience is a major plus.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality classroom and hands-on training that prepares students for immediate industry placement.
Provide personalized, one-on-one case management to track student progress, milestones, and program completion.
Proactively generate job leads, offer career guidance, and connect graduates with full-time employment or advanced education.
Maintain an organized, safe, and productive workshop environment while modeling professional behavioral standards and dress codes.
Partner with teams across multiple departments to ensure a supportive, safe, and empowering student culture.
Maintain meticulous, accurate, and secure records of student data and daily attendance.
