About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep of KGI properties. This role ensures that all facilities remain clean, safe, and fully operational for both guests and staff. The Associate supports the EVS/Facilities Department by maintaining building systems, fixtures, and equipment across the casino floor, administrative areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Must pass background and drug screening per Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain a gaming license
  • Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned—including weekends, evenings, and holidays—is required
  • General knowledge of lawncare, plumbing, and carpentry
  • At least twenty-five years of age
  • Possess a valid drivers’ license
  • Ability to lift over 50lbs, bend, stoop, walk, and stand

  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment and basic repair preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep of KGI properties.
  • Ensure all facilities remain clean, safe, and fully operational for both guests and staff.
  • Support the EVS/Facilities Department by maintaining building systems, fixtures, and equipment across the casino floor, administrative areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Operate company vehicles to transport and obtain parts as needed.
  • Ensure all supplies are stocked and tools are maintained in proper working order.
  • Receive assignments, instructions, and guidelines from the Facilities Manager.
  • Assist Facilities Manager and outside professionals with maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, coworkers, and other departments.
  • Adhere to uniform requirements and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing KGI.
  • Follow all applicable state, federal, and tribal laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
