About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Associate supports the daily operations and upkeep of all JPCHC locations; ensuring facilities remain safe, compliant, and fully operational for patients and staff. This role works closely with Facilities leadership and site teams; performing routine maintenance, supporting repairs, and assisting with facility needs across multiple locations. Regular travel between sites and occasional after-hours support are required to maintain continuity of operations.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic repair skills
  • Knowledge of general maintenance practices and building systems
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to travel regularly between locations
  • Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in facility maintenance, building operations, or a related field
  • Experience working in healthcare or multi-site environments
  • Familiarity with work order systems and preventive maintenance programs

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and complete assigned work orders
  • Conduct minor repairs to doors, windows, walls, flooring, fixtures, and equipment
  • Assist with patching, painting, and general surface repairs
  • Install shelving, cabinets, furnishings, and fixtures using appropriate tools
  • Maintain lighting systems and ensure proper functionality
  • Follow preventive maintenance schedules and applicable building codes
  • Assist Facilities Maintenance Technicians with ongoing and pending work orders
  • Assemble, repair, and maintain facility furnishings and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of facility grounds and remove debris as needed
  • Travel between sites to support facility needs across locations
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors on-site as needed
  • Collaborate with clinic staff and leadership to address facility concerns
  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and professionalism
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and organizational policies
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
  • Protect confidentiality and adhere to safety protocols at all times
  • Provide after-hours support for urgent facility issues as needed
