Requirements

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • General maintenance background.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Familiarity with assisting in building procedures and building codes.
  • Ability to multitask; prioritize; be able to work as a team player.
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work OT if required on short notice.
  • You are independent, proactive, flexible, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • You exhibit an enthusiastic, can-do attitude and approach.
  • You are self-directed and have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead and execute in an efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Facilities maintenance inventories.
  • Ensure that all maintenance service requests are scheduled and completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Open and close Angus building & ServiceNow tickets for all email, phone and verbal requests in order to track work load.
  • Maintain general appliances in kitchens/pantries and coordinate repairs on any plumbing or refrigeration issues.
  • Maintain supply inventories and submit weekly requests to the department coordinator.
  • Ensure all conference rooms and copy/pantry areas are kept neat and in good order by checking them throughout the day.
  • All corridors & freight areas are to be kept clear and free of debris to avoid fire hazards.
  • Perform light janitorial duties as required.
  • Relocate employees from office to office during in-house moves, including personal belongings, furniture, etc.
  • Provide moving boxes and bubble wrap to employees, and assure employees are assisted in packing if necessary.
  • Collect and redistribute keys to employees prior to moving.
  • Distribute keys to new employees on hire date.
  • Install nameplates on offices/workstations prior to the employee's start date.
  • Assist in deliveries and installations of new furniture with employees.
  • Remove old furniture and discard or place in storage.
  • Organize furniture repairs as necessary.
  • Prep for painting of offices with employees and painters.- reset room post painting completion
  • Perform daily functions as necessary, i.e., hang pictures, rearrange furniture in employees' offices as requested, assemble furniture such as computer carts, steel shelving, magazine racks, keyboard trays, etc.
  • Set up furniture in offices prior to move-in; assemble furniture such as typing tables, steel shelving, cd racks, install keyboard trays etc.
  • Prepare all offices prior to move-in; patching, painting, cleaning, and alerting facilities manager to any other issues that may need to be resolved
  • Assist with executive meetings and event support, including, but not limited to, setting up food & beverages, supplies, room set up, etc.
  • Properly support onsite events through its lifecycle.
  • Ensure a clean, safe and welcoming environment for employees and visitors
  • Inspect the property, common areas, surroundings for appearance and cleanliness.
  • Based on inspections, make recommendations for changes as well as note deficiencies and ensure corrective action is taken
  • Document, report, and follow through on inspection findings
  • Special projects as assigned by leaders - will include working with SAP financial systems
