About The Position

The Center at Cordera is currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team! This position will ultimately be a part time or a seasonal position, but will offer full time hours initially to help maintain and restore the building's pristine environment. Our facility serves patients needing physical rehabilitation and/or complex nursing care. Requirements

Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include painting, plumping, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc. as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
Clean windows and screens as directed.
Replace burned out light bulbs to include exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc. and perform cleaning duties wherever necessary.
Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
Service heating and cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
Other related duties as they become necessary or as directed by your supervisor, department director, and/or the Administrator
