We’re seeking a detail-oriented Facilities & Logistics Technician to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our facilities, equipment, inventory, and material-handling activities in Reading, PA. This is an exciting opportunity for a dependable, mechanically inclined professional who enjoys hands-on work and supporting day-to-day operations. Depending on site needs, this role may focus on facilities and equipment maintenance, logistics and inventory control, or a combination of both. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working across departments to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, operating equipment, and following workplace safety practices
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Vocational, technical, or trade training in maintenance, logistics, or a related field is a plus
  • Previous work experience in facilities maintenance, logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory control or a related operational environments
  • Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, equipment, and related systems to support safe and reliable operations
  • Inspect, test, service, and troubleshoot equipment and facility issues within the scope of training and authority
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service requests, inspections, repairs, and equipment status
  • Support facility improvement projects and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers as needed
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and condition
  • Label, store, track, and organize materials and inventory; assist with counts, reconciliations, and replenishment needs
  • Prepare, package, label, and document outgoing shipments and coordinate the timely distribution or transfer of materials and equipment
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment following required training and safety procedures
  • Maintain warehouse, loading, storage, facility, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition
  • Collaborate with team members, vendors, and management to coordinate operational activities and support changing business needs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
