About The Position

The Facilities Lead is critical to the smooth operation of our Fulfillment and Manufacturing Centers, responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of the Facility, Automation Equipment, Manufacturing Equipment, Material Handling Assets, Housekeeping, and Grounds. This position reports to the Facilities Manager and Supervisor and serves as a strategic partner to the Operations Team, performing advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance to maximize site success. The Facilities Lead delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

Requirements

  • Advanced mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment failures across conveyor, manufacturing, and building systems.
  • Advanced electrical troubleshooting expertise and working knowledge of NEC compliance standards.
  • Advanced motor controls troubleshooting, including hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, Soft Starts, Servo Drives, and External I/O Devices.
  • Advanced fabrication skillset to support repairs and modifications to facility and material handling assets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn and apply CMMS systems, graphical interfaces, and other relevant software platforms.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience or education in Material Handling Equipment (Conveyors and Sortation Equipment), Manufacturing, Mechanical Troubleshooting, Maintenance, and/or Installation.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision, follow oral and written instructions, and communicate effectively with both technical and operational team members.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Facility Technicians and the Operations Team to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical problems, ensuring alignment and clear communication across functional groups.
  • Attend daily production meetings as needed, serving as a knowledgeable resource for the site's Leadership Team and contributing to cross-departmental problem-solving efforts.
  • Effectively communicate equipment issues, repair status, and maintenance priorities to both technical team members and operational stakeholders to drive coordinated outcomes.
  • Ensure the continuous, reliable operation of fulfillment and manufacturing assets that directly support on-time order processing and delivery for fans.
  • Maintain building equipment, conveyor systems, and grounds to uphold a safe and efficient environment that enables the operations team to serve fans without disruption.
  • Complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with company standards to minimize downtime and sustain fulfillment throughput.
  • Support a facility environment that meets safety and operational requirements, protecting both team members and the integrity of fan-facing products and services.
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques — including the use of technical drawings, blueprints, electrical and mechanical schematics, and diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and laptops — to identify and resolve complex equipment failures.
  • Diagnose and repair complex motor control problems on equipment with PLCs, VFDs, Soft Starts, Servo Drives, and External I/O Devices, bringing creative and systematic thinking to novel technical challenges.
  • Learn and utilize applicable software platforms, including CMMS systems and graphical interfaces, to improve maintenance tracking, records retention, and operational insight.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve facility performance, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and operational innovation.
  • Ensure completion of all work orders, repairs, preventive maintenance activities, and records retention in strict accordance with company procedures and standards.
  • Adhere to all departmental and company standards, operating procedures, and safety requirements, including NEC compliance, while working independently in the absence of direct supervision.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on conveyor equipment, manufacturing equipment, grounds, building equipment, and powered industrial trucks (PIT), completing all tasks with consistency and precision.
  • Demonstrate the physical capability and determination required by the role, including standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods, working at heights from ladders and aerial lifts, operating in non-climate-controlled environments, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
