About The Position

We are currently seeking a dedicated Facilities Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities, as well as providing support for various maintenance tasks. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in creating a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work.
Basic knowledge of facility maintenance tasks.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Must possess a valid drivers license and meet the company minimum driving standards.
Physical stamina and ability to lift moderate weights.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing common areas, restrooms, and breakrooms.
Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, and carpet cleaners.
Perform routine floor maintenance, including waxing and polishing.
Assist in basic maintenance tasks such as light bulb replacement, minor plumbing repairs, and other general facility upkeep.
Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries in restrooms and common areas.
Keep an organized inventory of cleaning materials and report when replenishment is needed.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment.
Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the Facilities Manager.
Collaborate with other facilities team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
